You Never Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression

Members and six guests were treated to a fabulous, interactive workshop on making a good impression, whether for a presentation, speech, meeting or job interview. Right from the word go, participants were involved in lively group discussions in order to answer the "First Impressions Quiz" questions which ranged from "what is your definition of 'platform presence' to 'how do you control your nervousness' and 'how important is your first iimpression on your listener' to 'what is the easiest way to change your image?' The workshop also included a brief look into affirmations (NLP) and visualizatons, relaxation techniques and impression management. The evening concluded with supper and an informal chat on the expectations and aspirations of our six visitors who are all keen to come to our next club meeting.All our meetings are open to the public; visitors and new members are always welcome.
