Powertalk Nelson-Waimea
Welcome to Powertalk Nelson-Waimea Club . . .
Powertalk affords you the opportunity to grow mentally which means that you can be more of what you want to be
Powertalk Nelson-Waimea has a revitalizing leadership at the helm with President Neil, Secretary Linda and Accreditation Nissa
Powertalk Nelson-Waimea was established 48 years ago as an Effective Communication club where members could gain confidence and learn valuable life and social skills for the home and workplace.
Our club has gone through a number of changes over 48 years and has ticked all the boxes as a modern multi-cultural 21st Century Club with members coming from all walks of life and many different areas of NZ, UK, Germany, and South Africa.

We learn the art of public speaking and develop good communication skills in a relaxed and friendly environment with a Powertalk international speakers' club.
We are a friendly club with members ranging in age from a young mum to an octogenarian. Everyone is welcome, no matter your age or gender.
New members and guests are always welcome at our clubs: there is no charge for visitors, who will not be pressed to speak unless they really wish to! Our clubs are open to everybody. No dress code - come as you are. We provide opportunites for growth that show immediate results.
We are always delighted when guests and visitors come along to our meetings: if you are not sure about becoming a member, come along and check us out; you are allowed three visits before having to make a decision.
We usually meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Monday at the RichmondTown Hall, Cambridge Street, Richmond. Meetings start at 7pm and finish at 9pm approximately and can vary from a structured meeting to a poetry reading in the park or a theme evening interwoven with a potluck tea!
. . . become the poised and confident person you have always wanted to be
We would be delighted to hear from you so please feel free to contact us at any time.
